東京コレクションで活躍されているブランド｢beautiful people（ビューティフルピープル）｣と株式会社サンリーブが手掛ける眼鏡における黒を追求しているブランド「BLACK GALLERY SPECTACLES（ブラックギャラリースペクタクルズ）」との初のコラボレーションアイウェア「beautiful people × BLACK GALLERY SPECTACLES」を発売。
｢beautiful people｣の2011春夏コレクションのテーマ“リトルブラックドレス”に合わせ、デザイナーの熊切秀典氏と共同開発をし、プレッピースタイルのアイウェアが登場。

ボリュウムのあるウエリントンシェイプのスタイルにウインドペンチェックを施した大胆なスタイルで洋服のイメージに合わせたプレッピーなアイウェア。カラーバリエーションは黒白の2層生地の表面をレーザーにてチェックを施し、下地の白をのぞかせた黒白カラーとベーシックな単色の黒に同様にチェックを施した黒カラーのバリエーション。
